Self love not hate <3

This guy was looking at me upside down today! I drew him a couple of years ago now and am currently sorting out his frame after some bits falling off. I found this creature to be something quite odd and unpleasant looking, but after the words he asked me to put on his portrait I come to realise he use to be human but lost his way some what, and because he didn't love himself he shrivelled all up and his brain rained bad thoughts about himself that spilled out, keeping his heart confined, wearing a huge smile on his face to try to seem fine whilst his forehead screamed self hate and wanting to leave it all behind, I had to cry for this little guy and wanted to give him a big hug but all he wanted was his picture drawn and then to be on his way... but after a few years later I saw him speaking words of self love and not hate which brought peace to my heart, he looks completly different now and wears his heart proudly on his sleeve for all to see with undless supply of hugs to recieve 🎀
